Declaration on Accessibility

The Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz (Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation) endeavours to optimise its website in order to ensure greatest possible accessibility. The legal basis for this are the German Act on Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (BGG) and the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV).

This website is currently under construction. Against this background, an updated (manual) test developed by the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) will be carried out for this website as soon as possible.

Contact

Via the contact page of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation https://www.preussischer-kulturbesitz.de/service/barriere-melden.html, you can report deficiencies regarding compliance with accessibility requirements and request non-accessible content in a format that is accessible to you.

Arbitration Service

If a satisfactory solution has not been found even after you have sent feedback to the above-mentioned contact, you can turn to the arbitration service pursuant to section 16 BGG. The BGG arbitration service has the task of supporting an out-of-court settlement of disputes in the event of conflicts on the subject of accessibility between persons with disabilities and federal public bodies. The arbitration service is free of charge. No legal counsel needs to be involved.
